Creston is a village in Platte County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 203 at the 2010 census. ==History== Creston was laid out in 1886 when the Fremont, Elkhorn and Missouri Valley Railroad was extended to that point. It was named from its lofty elevation.〔 A (1925 edition ) is available for download at (University of Nebraska—Lincoln Digital Commons. )〕 Creston was originally built up chiefly by Germans.〔 The town was incorporated as a village in 1890.〔
